A creative workshop "6 Thinking Hats" was organised at the Creative Center of Metropolitan University in Niš on Wednesday, March 27th 2019. The workshop was held by MSc Ecc Milica Mladenović, Manager of the Creative Center and Teaching Assistant at Metropolitan University’s Faculty of Management.

The workshop consisted of three parts:

* Creative workshop and presentation on the creative thinking method "6 Thinking Hats" - reviewing an idea from 6 different perspectives

* Idea discussion and team bonding - enhancement of team spirit and collaboration in idea analysis

* Gathering into teams based on students’ personal interests, preferences and abilities

At the beginning, Milica Mladenovic explained the concept of the creative thinking method "6 Thinking Hats". This method encourages reviewing an idea from 6 different perspectives, with each perspective being represented by a hat of a specific color. Afterwards, students expressed their opinions on different ideas. During this workshop, 6 hats of different colors were used as props, which caused a very positive reaction and engagement of the students. Depending on the color of the hat obtained, each student considered the idea from a particular perspective. at the end of the workshop, based on personal interests, preferences, skills and abilities, students gathered into teams to further research the potential of developing expressed ideas.

Students were delighted with the workshop and the hat exchanges, which led to the development of an even larger number of ideas, as well as the enhancement of the existing ones. Metropolitan University applies modern innovative methods in order to encourage creative thinking among its students.
