Workshop "With creative thinking on a lot of ideas and potential innovation" held in the Creativity center of the University of Niš

Within the scope of activity 5.3 on the IF4TM project, a creative workshop entitled "With creative thinking on a lot of ideas and potential innovation" was held on October 30, 2018, in the Creativity Center of University of Niš. The lecturer at the workshop was Prof. Dr. Marjan Leber from the partner University of Maribor.

Meeting related to the transfer of INNO platforms

Related to the previously reached agreement of Serbian HEIs and Intranea solution on the transfer of seven Student INNO platforms to individual universities’ platforms, on 18th October 2018, a meeting was organized with the IT administrators of Serbian HEIs with their colleagues from Intranea solutions company. The meeting was held at the premises of the University of Kragujevac.

The representatives of the National Erasmus Office in Serbia visited the University of Kragujevac on 8th October 2018, within their regular advisory monitoring visit to the project IF4TM.

Support to PoC projects from the University of Maribor, visit to University of Nis and University of Novi Sad

In the framework of realization of PoC projects and support to selected research teams from Serbia in raising TRL levels (act.3.5 and act3.6), prof. Marjan Leber from the University of Maribor (the term related to the 6th SCM) visited professors and research groups at the University of Niš and Novi Sad.

Sixth Steering Committee meeting held in Nis

Sixth Steering Committee meeting in Nis was organized jointly by the University of Nis and Educational Centre of the Belgrade Metropolitan University, on 21st and 22nd September 2018.
The meeting was dedicated to the presentation of the results achieved in previous period and particularly to the status of ongoing activities.

Support to PoC projects from the University of Maribor, visit to University of Novi Sad

Within the framework of the realization of the activities of PoC projects (act. 3.5 and 3.6), the expert from the University of Maribor, prof. Borut Buchmeister visited colleagues at University in Novi Sad, working with research teams.

Study visit to the Danube University Krems

The visit to the Danube University Krems was organized within the activity 3.4 National competition for (BSc, MSc, PhD) best ideas of students in the period from 8 to 11 August 2018.

The purpose of the visit was the introduction of Serbian HEI’s students (winners of local competition) to the practices of Danube Krems University in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation management, as well as start-up initiatives.

Visit of BITF to University of Brighton, UK

The visit to the University of Brighton, UK, (UoB) was organized within the activity 5.3 Delivery of workshops on creativity and entrepreneurship from July 15-17, 2018.

BITF is a lead partner in charge of the activity 5.3, and together with UoB, the lead partner of WP 5, during the visit, worked on planning and developing the creativity workshops to be held by the EU partners at the creativity centers organiyed at the Serbian partner universities.

Visit to the Instituto Superor Tecnico in Lisbon

In the framework of realization of PoC projects and support to selected research teams from Serbia in raising TRL levels (act.3.5 and act3.6), a visit to the Instituto Superor Tecnico in Lisbon took place in the period from 15 to 18 July 2018. On that occasion, the members of the project teams of the following PoC projects:

  1. Robust low-cost fiber-optic 2D deflection sensor, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences
  2. 3 PHASE voltage converter, University of Nis, Faculty of Electronic Engineering
  3. Device for ultrasound washing and disinfection of medical instruments and vessels, University of Nis, Faculty of Electronic Engineering

Creative training for working on 3D printer, 3D scanner and 3D pens – 3rd part

The third phase of the training involved testing of the produced microfluid chips on the characterization equipment

- Preparation of chips for testing

- Setting up the equipment and setting up the complete aparature

- Testing microfluidic devices
