The team from University of Kragujevac visited the University of Bari Aldo Moro on 9^th and 10^th July 2018 in order to discuss the implementation of project activities at this university.

Local competition for the best student idea was organized on Monday, July 9, 2018. In the first phase of the competition, six teams proposed their ideas at BMU and one at TCAS. In the second phase, two teams submitted the business models for their ideas at BMU and one at TCAS. Due to the fact that the two institutions together had three teams, it was decided to organize one local competition for BMU and TCAS.

The local finale of the Competition for the Best Student Idea was held at the Rectorate’s Hall on Friday, July 6, 2018. After two rounds of review, the four best ideas have been selected to participate in the local finale. 

Local competition for best student idea on State University of Novi Pazar is organized as integral part of IF4TM project to promote transfer of knowledge and innovation as important part of the third mission of University. Four student team fulfilled all requirements for the final of the local competition and two best teams managed to qualify for the national competition.

University of Kragujevac, as coordinator of IF4TM project, established the cooperation with Serbian Chambers of Commerce, "Climate-KIC" program and UNPD that resulted in the jointly organized capacity building training "Making and developing business ideas". 

On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 12 am at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade a competition for the Best Student Idea for the University of Belgrade teams was held.

The Competition included three teams with their creative and innovative ideas, which have confirmed their entrepreneurial spirit, imagination and great potential through numerous audience and supporters on YouTube.

In the framework of realization of PoC projects and support to selected research teams from Serbia in raising TRL levels (act.3.5 and act3.6), a visit to the University of Maribor took place in the period from 17 to 20 June 2018. On that occasion, the members of the project teams of the following PoC projects:

1. Molecular sensor for malignancy screening, Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering, University of Belgrade
2. Torque Sensor based on Magnetomechanical Effect in Commercial Steel, University of Kragujevac, Faculty of Technical Sciences in Cacak

The second phase of the training meant practical work on the devices:

- Designing 3D models of microfluidic chips in the AutoCAD program

- Designing prototypes on 3D

- Correction of minor errors in fabrication using a 3d pen

The training on Market Strategy was organized with aim to train participants of the Competition for best student ideas on how to bring their ideas to the market and which tools and mechanisms to use in the process.
