A visiting workshop "With Creative Thinking to a Lot of Ideas and Potential Innovation" was organised at the Creative Center of Metropolitan University in Niš on Thursday, April 25th 2019. The workshop was held by dr Marjan Leber, professor at University of Maribor’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

At the workshop, creativity and creative methods were discussed for the purpose of developing ideas and transforming them into innovative solutions. Creative methods for collecting ideas and innovating were considered in detail, followed by their implementation in students’ group workshops. The visiting workshop covered the following topics:

• Introduction to creativity and creative methods
• Six-stage model for collecting ideas in SMEs
• The Ultimate Challenge Game - group workshop on finding a challenge and giving solutions by using neurocards as props
• Method 6-3-5 - group workshop on the search for ideas and their evaluation
• Morphological analysis - exercise on choosing the best idea generated by using the method 6-3-5
• Combinex - exercise on choosing an optimal solution generated by using the method 6-3-5
• From idea to potential innovation - presentation
• Reflexion

The visiting creative workshop was successfully held, with a lot of positive energy and to mutual satisfaction. By connecting with international educational institutions, Metropolitan University enables the implementation of modern innovative methods in order to encourage creativite thinking of its students in developing their ideas.
