After start of the Competition for the best student idea Info day for prospective competition participants was organised on SUNP in cooperation with Students Parliament of SUNP. During Info day students were introduced on importance of promotion of entrepreneurial culture, encouraging of creativity development, team spirit and founding of spin off and start up companies. 

he competition for the best student idea was launched on 15th February 2018 at seven higher education institution in Serbia, among which is the University of Kragujevac. Besides other activities related to the promotion of the Competition, the team from University of Kragujevac organized four info days at the Faculty of Engineering (7th, 9th and 13th March) and Faculty of Economics (13th March) in order to inform the students about the competition, the rules for application, evaluation stages, rewards, etc.

Serbian partners visited the Danube University Krems in the period 23-24 February 2018. The visit was organized in order to develop the set of metrics for third mission activities, within the Act6.2. The project team members from University of Kragujevac, University of Belgrade, University of Novi Sad, Technical College of Applied Studies , Belgrade Metropolitan University and Business Innovation Centre, had the opportunity to discuss the set of metrics to be selected and adopted for monitoring of the progress of third mission activities at Serbian universities. During the visit, the short list of these indicators was developed.

The Business Incubator of Technical Faculties Belgrade organized the trainer for trainers on the entrepreneurship and creative thinking on 19 February 2018.

The Competition for Best Student Ideas has been launched within IF4TM project, coordinated by the University of Kragujevac and funded by the European Commission within Erasmus+ program. The Competition is realized in partnership with 17 partners from six countries through seven local competitions in Kragujevac, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Novi Pazar and Zrenjanin and National Final Competition to be held in one of these cities.

First call for Proof-of-Concept Programme PoC-01-RS-2018  (linkovati) was announced on 27^th December 2017.

The Program provides the support to research teams from Serbia to validate their research results, technologies, laboratory prototypes with the aim to raise the Technology Readiness Level within the process of pre-commercialization.

Business fair "Science for Industry" has been held for the first time in Novi Sad, in the period from 04-05/12/2017.
The organization of the "Science for Industry" fair is inspired by the need for a stronger linkage of science with the economy and the opportunities for students and researchers to help further industrial development.

Third meetings of working groups WG2, WG3 and WG4 were organized at the University of Nis, on 30^th November 2017.
The topics of the meeting were progress of activities delegated to WG members and plan for the next period for Act3.5 Improving TRL level through implementation of proof-of-concept programme for selected research ideas, Act3.6 IP valuation and commercialization strategy, Act3.4 National competition for best ideas of students, Act5.6 Open-innovation campaigns, Act5.4 Non-discipline volunteering, Act5.5 Unlocking and mobilizing university resources.

Info day “Young Entrepreneur” was organized on November 20^th, 2017 in the Rectorate Hall of University of Kragujevac. The event was organized in cooperation with the Business Forum Association (supported by Ministry of youth and sports of the Republic of Serbia).
