The second Steering Committee of IF4TM project was organized at the State University of Novi Pazar, on 22^nd and 23^rd September 2016.

The attendees were welcomed by the Prof. Dr. Miladin Kostic, the Rector of the State University of Novi Pazar. 

The second Consensus meeting on revision of legal framework and polices in Republic of Serbia within the IF4TM project was held, on Thursday, 15 September 2016, at Belgrade Metropolitan University (BMU). The main objective of this meeting was to explain the significance of the third mission and to present the recommendations for creating and improving the legislative on the higher education institutions. 

Consensus meeting on revision of legal framework and polices in Republic of Serbia within the IF4TM project was held at University of Nis, as partner institution, on September 8^th. The aim of the meeting was to have open discussion (based on the benchmarking results) of relevant stakeholders (representatives of faculties, industry, SMEs, clusters and associations of enterprises, regional development organisations) on further development activities.

International fair of innovation, cooperation and entrepreneurship INOCOOP 2016, organized by Regional chamber of commerce Zrenjanin, Association of entrepreneurs Zrenjanin and Tourist center of Zrenjanin, lasted from 25th to 27th August 2016. in Medison Hall in Zrenjanin town.

Within the ongoing project activities and process of forming work groups that in the following period of project realization will be engaged in the development of all three dimensions of the third mission at universities in Serbia, on Tuesday, 2 August 2016, the meeting was held in the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Kragujevac. 

Benchmarking analysis meeting was held in University of Novi Sad, on June 24^th within the IF4TM project. The benchmarking analysis meeting was organised by University of Novi Sad as partner institution of the project.

The participants of the meeting were welcomed by Prof. Dr Goran Stojanović leader of Novi Sad project team and Prof. Dr Vesna Mandić, project coordinator.

The events provided symposiums, forums, seminars, talks, workshops, tutorials, product and prototype demonstration, for researchers and engineers from academia and industry to exchange experience and results on their recent work.

The first Steering Committee Meeting of IF4TM project was held on May 19 and 20, 2016 at the University of Nis, Serbia. The representatives of 16 partner institutions attended the meeting.

The representatives of Serbian Erasmus Plus Office visited University of Kragujevac within the preventive monitoring visit to IF4TM project. The meeting was held on 11^th May 2016 in the university’s Rectorate. Besides the representatives of University of Kragujevac as coordinating institution, the representatives of other Serbian partners attended the meeting as well.

The basic prerequisite for the progress of any society is the development of science, also ongoing work on the education of young scientists is crucial for any modern society. The aim of these events is to get science closer to society, to make it more transparent and more obvious, break down prejudices, as well as to educate and alleviate some of the fears that arise in society by introducing new technologies.
